Jorge Masvidal is in no way holding back when it comes to his feelings about fellow fighter Colby Covington. Masvidal emphatically said if Covington walked into the room, he'd make sure he didn't walk out. The pair were once friends and even housemates, with Masvidal supporting a then-amateur Covington in his early career. However, Masvidal claimed that their relationship soured after Covington betrayed him by failing to pay a promised 5% fee to Masvidal's coach. The feud was further escalated when Covington attacked Masvidal's personal life to garner attention for his Pay-Per-View match. Having previously talked Covington out of quitting the sport, Masvidal expressed his deep disappointment at his former friend's actions, and didn't mince words when discussing his feelings on Covington's overall character.
