Jamie and Doug discuss their extremely challenging past week.  Jamie found out her Grandmother passed away, which was the first time someone she knew all her life had passed.  Jamie talks about the relationship they had, and we learn more about their family dynamic.  She opens up about how her grandmother’s passing has, in a way, helped reconnect Jamie and her mom.  Hear about Jamie’s 3 hour phone call with her mother, and how this may have had a positive impact on her mother’s outlook on life.  Jamie also had a girlfran Sarah pass away a few days later to ovarian cancer.  Doug and Jamie reflect on how quick life can be taken away, and how lucky they are to be living.  Sarah has made such a profound impact in Jamie’s life, and how she looks at depression, anxiety, and complaining in a whole new light.  Sarah knew she was given 2 to 5 years left, and fought every day to stay here on earth, and her one big wish was to see her son off to kindergarten this year.  Hear Sarah’s story, and how important it is to advocate for your body, your health, and your family.
