Apparently, Murphy Oil Soap works fantastically as a scrubber additive! A Colorado miner taught me that trick.

Today's goals were to sample two muckpiles left underground on the Magazine level, as well as the drift face. If these muckpiles exhibit economical grades (as the ore is already mined, our direct costs are limited to loading, shipping, and processing), they're a happy windfall.

The brecciated andesite that is beginning to appear in the back at the face leads me to believe that the drift is skimming the top of the ore zone, which may well extend at depth. Our planned drive on the 130 level will eventually come up under the Magazine workings, facilitating mining of any down-dip ore. Just another reason for us to keep working!
