Dmitry Bivol and Umar Salamov fought in Yekaterinburg

On December 11, 2021 a great Boxing Evening from RCC Boxing Promotions took place in Ekaterinburg and the whole world was riveted to it.

In the main fight of the evening undefeated Russian boxer, WBA world champion Dmitry Bivol (18-0, 11 KO) and contender for the title Umar Salamov (26-1, 19 KO) met at RCC BOXING PROMOTIONS SHOW

🥊 Bivol hasn't fought in his home country since 2017 - for five years he developed his career in the United States, where he managed victories over boxing stars Sullivan Barrera, Isaac Chilemba, Jean Pascal, Lenin Castillo, Craig Richards. All of them tried to challenge their status as the best boxer on the planet, but to no avail.

🥊 For Umar Salamov the fight in Ekaterinburg became the most important fight of his career at the moment. He was the IBO world champion for nine years, but never before had he fought for such an important belt and against such a serious opponent.
