I have been using my self-made camera stand for one year now. It is a quite big stand, it has wheels and an articulating arm. I have been mostly satisfied with it, but there are some things that I want to improve.

I have recently bought a new camera: Panasonic LUMIX S5ii. This is quite a lot heavier than my old one (Canon EOS 200D / SL2). I need to fit springs on the articulating arm to hold my new heavy camera. It has actually been my plan to add springs from the start, but now I really need it.

It's time to build camera stand version 2.0. Without spoiling anything, I ended up rebuilding almost everything 😵
