Dr. Zakir Naik explained that "Kafir" is an Arabic word which means Non-Muslim. Islam doesn't preach to kill Non-Muslims, rather some biased people take Qur'anic verses out of context which were revealed about the battle field and represent these verses generally, to manipulate Islamic teachings and brainwash people against Islam.
