I'm Shayla, an earthy mountain mama to 6 wildlings, & a blessed wife to one since 2004. We're a big, Jesus loving, God fearing family & we love to laugh! Hubby & I are second generation homeschoolers, & have been homeschooling our children from the start-since around 2009. We were raised unconventionally, and our parents utilized homesteading before it was trendy, and it was a goal and dream of ours to do the same-but it's only been recently that we have been able to bring this dream to full potential. Last year the Heavenly Father brought to life our dream that we've had for over 25 years and enabled us to begin buying a mountain homestead fixer upper, so join us in the adventures and fun here at our new homeschool/homestead!
