Follow along as we explore Seven Mile Rim Trail, which can be found less than nine miles north of Moab, Utah. Along the way, we adventure through Mill Canyon Dinosaur Bone Trail, Uranium Arch, several beautiful vistas, many 4x4 obstacles like Burnt Toast, I Lean, Wipeout Hill, and Wicked Ledge. We didn't get to record it on this trip, but you can also find other amazing things to do along Seven Mile Rim Trail at Mill Canyon Dinosaur Tracksite, Halfway Stage Station, Slickensides Arch, Determination Towers, and Tusher Tunnel.

There are many camping locations around this area, but one of our favorites is at Courthouse Rock Campground. It may not be free like most of the public land camping locations, but for a few dollars a night, you get a fire ring, bathrooms, and you are within easy walking distance to dinosaur tracks.

We love all of Utah, but Moab holds a special place in our hearts. It has so much to offer. It has arguably some of the best views in America, two National Parks, hundreds of miles of 4x4 trails, hundreds of miles of hiking and biking trails, rafting, climbing, and the town of Moab manages to provide all of the amenities you need without feeling too touristy.

If you have a high clearance vehicle with four wheel drive and a place to lay your head, it doesn't matter if it is a decked out overlanding vehicle with a rooftop tent like ours or your own creation that gets you out there, Seven Mile Rim Trail is a wonderful place to explore!

If you are interested in wanting to adventure more, the best way to begin is to do a little research and get out there with what you have. There are plenty of amazing places that you can go with any vehicle! We started out with a 1998 VW Beetle that was held together with Duck Tape and love, a ten year old leaky tent, and a lot of determination.
