Clawdeen’s dad gives Clawdeen her mom’s moon claw necklace as a birthday gift. Clawdeen uses the necklace and her mom’s motto, “Trust Your Instincts” which leads her through the woods as she sings “Hear My Howl” as she looks for the places she's meant to be. The moon claw Necklace leads her directly to Monster High. Headmistress BloodGood refuses to admit Clawdeen but Monster High feels like home to Clawdeen and she will not stop till she’s admitted because she knows she belongs there.
