How can we stop letting our brain cause these feelings of worry, panic, and lead to even feeling depressed and helpless? To start feeling more hopeful and have the energy to start in the direction of what we do what to feel and have in our lives? Or to have the courage and will to make the changes we want to live happier, more fulfilling lives?

As I explained in the video, learning and applying Dr Martin Seligman’s ABCDEs to Optimism, has proven to be an extremely helpful tool to calm my negative feelings down and help me to build plans and confidence to go for what I want and to feeling happier and in charge of my life.

I know life can be hard, but if you can find just a little bit of motivation to complete this ABCDE Guide, I am confident it will help you to start feeling better. Taking this form of positive action, supported with good counselling and if required, prescribed medication to help some feel better to make the necessary changes, can be the formula for breaking free from depression and worry and living a happier, more fulfilling life.
