A Boeing 737 carrying 132 passengers climbs out of control just moments before landing. The pilots try desperately to push the nose down, but their aircraft is hellbent on going up. As it does, its speed drops, and the pilots’ stick-shakers vibrate loudly, indicating that they are about to stall, and fall from the sky.

The terrified passengers hold on for dear life as the engines roar, and the aircraft shudders.

Will the pilots be able to wrestle their aircraft back under control, or will a simple misunderstanding, spell their doom?

This is the story of Thompson fly 3894.
