Citywide Mentoring is a 501C3 non-profit licensed vendor for the state of Michigan and has successfully provided peer-to-peer mentoring, training and motivational services for society's challenged youth and adults for the past 15 years.

Our goal is to provide supportive relationships by offering mentors, who can help to foster hope within program participants and in their own abilities. So that they are able to overcome their addictions and/or other challenges which leads them to be free and successful within their communities.

Due to personal and societal stigmas related to their identity as a person with mental illness
and/or substance use, combined with the development of anti-social habits, many within this
population have lost faith in their ability to achieve. Citywide Mentoring brings the
experience of giving hope that results in pro-social relationships and societal re-engagement.
Through a combination of positive self-valuing strategies and coaching, Citywide Mentoring
has helped others decrease patterns of self-destruction while increasing
social competence and community integration.
