Fill up Form I-90 for lost and stolen Green Cards.

00:55 What do you do when your green card is stolen or lost? You have to make sure that it's really lost or stolen and you didn’t misplace it anywhere before taking the next step.

01:11 You need to immediately file for a replacement Green Card by filing Form I-90.

01:39 Use Form I-75 to renew your expired Green Card and this is referred to as the Petition to Remove Conditions of Residence.

01:54 Once you file for the Form I-95 to get a receipt because the replacement of your green card will take several months to process.

02:14 If you are leaving the United States and going to travel abroad you need to set an appointment with the USCIS and get an ADIT Stamp to prove that you are in the process of renewing your green card. This ADIT Stamp is also used as a temporary proof to your employer that you are still a green cardholder.

03:33 You don’t have to go through the process of obtaining a green card. Again if you lost or got your green card stolen just fill up Form I-90.

03:56 And once you get that Green Card please keep it in a safe place and try to never lose it again.
