Hello everyone ! My name is Joanna . I have a speech disorder called Speech Apraxia . Apraxia is a speech sound disorder where one has trouble saying the words correctly . The brain knows what it wants to say, but cannot say the sounds properly . I am educating people on what it’s like living with Speech Apraxia or any disability, but I focus on my disability the most. I want people to know that having a disability doesn’t mean that you can’t enjoy your life to the fullest!

Welcome back my friend Jane! In this video I interviewed her on what it is like to be friends with someone with a disability. I also asked Jane some really on the spot questions . I am sure Jane wasn’t completely comfortable answering some tough questions but we wanted it to be a eye opening to people who aren’t friends with someone with a disability . You can be friends with someone with a disability ! I know from my personal experiences I know some people don’t really want to hang out with a kids or adults with disabilities because they think that they are to “cool” in a way . Jane gives a message at the end of the video please listen to Jane’s message with an open mind !
