So what is a VPN and what does it do? VPN is mainly used to help you stay private online.

Every device connected to the internet is assigned a sequence of numbers, called the IP address. One of the main ways it does this is by masking your IP address.

Another benefit of a VPN is that it will encrypt your data.
This way, instead of going from one device to another device, it will get encrypted by going through the VPN first. This will limit the chances of the data falling into the wrong hands.

VPN also provides online privacy. VPN services will not track your activity online.

One of the downsides of a VPN is that they do slow down your activities online. With the free VPNs, you’ll notice a significant reduction in speed, and the paid options still have a reduction in speed, but it’s not as noticeable.
