After the Francis Scott Key Bridge collapsed on March 26, 2024, several ships that were already in Baltimore became trapped, unable to leave port. On April 25, 2024, four ships were cleared by the U.S. Coast Guard to leave Baltimore as cleanup and recovery efforts continue at the site of the Francis Scott Key Bridge. The four ships are Balsa 94, Saimaagracht, Carmen, and Phatra Naree. This video shows the departure of the ro-ro (car carrier) Carmen.
