Minar-e-Pakistan: A monumental structure in Lahore, Pakistan, stands as a symbol of the nation’s struggle for independence. Constructed at the very spot where the historic All India Muslim League session took place on March 23, 1940, this iconic tower commemorates the resolution that paved the way for a separate homeland for Muslims in the subcontinent. The decision to build this landmark was made approximately 12 years after Pakistan’s creation, with the aim of preserving the memory of that significant event. The cost of constructing Minar-e-Pakistan was around 7.5 million Pakistani rupees. Today, it serves as a powerful reminder of the relentless pursuit of freedom and the birth of Pakistan.
