In-person early voting began Thursday in Baltimore City and the endorsements in the hotly contested mayoral primary continue to stack up, but the risk for the electeds backing various candidates also continues to go, according to a political analyst.

Mayor Brandon Scott is facing former Mayor Sheila Dixon in the Democratic primary, along with several other candidates, including Bob Wallace who ran as an independent candidate in 2020.
