On June 30th, 2020, Epic Games released an end-of-month blog post on the state of Fortnite’s PvE mode, Save the World. This state of development post was a massive blow to its community which effectively announced that Epic had abandoned focused development on this mode. Slowing down the frequency of new updates and content, and completely cancelling the rest of its storyline while keeping the game as a premium title instead of it going F2P as promised back in 2018...So how did Epic fumble it's orginal mode so badly?
