Montana’s U.S. senators are working to save Missoula's outgoing mail processing operations and improve rural postal service.

Sen. Jon Tester and Sen. Steve Daines signed a bipartisan letter to the USPS Board of Governors calling for a halt in the facility review and for services to be restored.

The letter asks USPS to put the changes on hold until a study on the potential impacts of the change is completed.
