transforming shipping containers into living spaces is not new. in the past, we’ve seen how architects have made clippings, coatings and insertions on external elements to repurpose the steel boxes. following a work-related injury, denver-based firefighter regan foster decided to build a house using nine shipping containers and metamorphosing them into a massive 3,840 square foot (356.75 m²) home that could’ve easily been designed by any architect.
