Welcome to my Hookum review. This course is created by Mark Bishop, one of my favorite niche marketing guys. This course teaches you how to build a list by spending about $5 for traffic and about one hour to set everything up. The idea is to give away some good content, what Mark calls “Hooks” to hook them in so that they open your emails and purchase your recomendations.

So with about One hour’s worth of work, and $5 for traffic, each Hookum is designed to bring in about $20 per day. So this definitley won’t make you rich, but it is a good way to get the money started flowing in which is probably the most difficult part of internet marketing. Once you start seeing the results of your labor, it gets much easier.

While $20 per day may not sound like much, that is only for one campaign. The idea is that many streams make a river and to crack out these income streams so that you income grows exponentially. Mark says that one hours worth of work can turn into $600 per month or $7,200 per yr. Then you just simply add more of these streams and rinse and repeat.

Now I like to be more conservative with my math. I definitley think the $20 a day is doable because you will be building a list which is where the money is in this business. But let’s just say for arguments sake that you only manage $10 per day with your Hookums. That is $300 per month, or $3,600 per yr for an hour’s worth of work. Not too bad.

This is really a simple twist on an old school method that works. The goal of any online business is to build a list. If you are not building a list, you are not building a business. I’ll go so far as to say, if you are not building a list, you might as well go find something else to do because you are wasting your time.

The reason I say that is because traffic is too expensive these days for direct linking. You have to get your profits on the back end(ie from your email list). Back when you could get .05 and .10 cent clicks on Google adwords, then yes, you could get away with direct linking.

So now that I’ve given you the importance of listbuilding, lets get into more detail about the Hookum method. This is well suited for niche marketing. Anywhere there are people actively buying info products as well as physical products, this will work. The key is to enter into a market where people are actually pulling out their wallet.

What I like Mark’s system is that it is simple to do. There isn’t much of a learning curve and there aren’t a lot of moving parts unlike most systems today…so this is well suited for newbies and people who have been struggling to make money online.
