One of the coolest places we’ve ever had the privilege of working was right on the coast of Lake Michigan. Upon arriving, there was really nothing to look at. Some flagstone buried in the sand and a deck falling apart. We crafted a design that made the space fully functional, cozy, and just generally a place you never want to leave. The deck overhangs the drop off for breathtaking views, and the flagstone was reinstalled with a proper base and joint-fill to outlast any of the dune’s shifting sand. Last, we created an outdoor area with a brand new grill and refrigerator, and a stone that matches the surroundings.
