The actor Warwick Davis and his wife Sammy have been speaking about how she nearly died of sepsis.

Sammy Davis developed the infection following a routine back operation at Addenbrooke's hospital.

She and her husband - the Star Wars and Harry Potter actor - have praised the work of doctors and nurses at the Cambridgeshire hospital who saved her life.

They're warning others to be on their guard against the deadly infection.
