President HAKAINDE HICHILEMA has thanked the people of Nakonde for voting the UPND into government.

Speaking during a public rally at Ntindi School Grounds in Nakonde, President HICHILEMA promised to foster development in the district through various projects.

The President said government has increased CDF to ensure all corners of the country are developed.

President HICHILEMA said government is looking at improving the border to allow the smooth flow of business.

He further said government will continue to improve the education sector with the construction of a boarding school in the district.

The President who was on a working visit has since left Muchinga Province.
