Missoula County announced the reopening date of Maclay Bridge is delayed following an inspection by an engineering firm.

Originally the bridge was expected to reopen by May 9 or 10, but the inspection determined additional repairs are needed to safely reopen.

Once additional materials are delivered, crews will pour concrete, which requires a seven-day cure time before final asphalt surfacing can be placed.
