Figma is the magical tool that most product, digital, ui ux designers use these days and here are 5 tricks that left me absolutely speechless, and quick frankly… stopped using adobe.

0:00 - 0:17 intro
0:18 - 0:59 Copy and paste style
1. this first trick is for when you’re testing out or trying to make designs really quickly.
Lets say you have a shape here and you’ve carefully crafted the shadow and you decided to change another shape to the exact same style - all you have to do is:
command option c + v

1:00 - 2:37 boolean property
2. next trick is for reducing the amount of component variants.
lets say you have a button and you want to make it a component, but then you want to add an icon to the right side or the left side - it’s just SUCH a hassle to make more components like this.

I spent the longest time trying to draw ugly circles and trying to cut them and finally realized that there’s a freaking arc tool on figma.

if you’re already using auto layout and you want to move this red square or swap the position of these squares - all you have to do is select the object and click the arrow keys

if you have a bunch of messy layers that you need to rename just simply select all and click Command R
