"This afternoon, we were delighted to interact with Copperbelt University (CBU) students in Kitwe during the commissioning of 30 boreholes to be drilled in the district.

Our message to the Monks and Momas was very clear. We told them to focus on their studies and not worry about the water challenges because that will be a thing of the past as we have drilled a borehole for them within the campus from among the 30 to be drilled in Kitwe.

Before heading to CBU, we witnessed the official groundbreaking ceremony of the Bulangililo Water Treatment Plant Expansion, which will see the improvement of water supply in Kitwe.

Of great excitement was the commissioning of over 1000 flushable toilets in Kitwe's Kwacha Constituency in an area where our people have never used flushable toilets in the history of Zambia.

Our people deserve better, and as a government, we are doing everything possible to ensure every community has clean water supply and sanitation.

We ended our day in Kitwe's Ndeke area, where we interacted with our people as we thanked them for putting us in office to serve them.

We hinted to them that their vote for us in 2021 is what has brought about free education, the employment of thousands of teachers, health personnel, and personnel in all security wings.

Your 2021 vote is what will make us continue creating more business opportunities and jobs, including reviving all mines across the country.
