If you need a TI-84 Plus CE battery replacement, Texas Instruments makes it simple to swap out the rechargeable battery for a newer one.

First, locate the battery cover on the back of the TI-84 Plus CE and loosen the two screws using a Phillips-head screwdriver. After removing the battery cover, use the notch for help removing the current rechargeable battery and insert the newer battery. Reposition the battery cover and reinsert the screws, being careful not to overtighten. Please note, you may need to fully charge the new battery.
