We all know Cathie wood is the creator and face of Ark invest. Which is basically a hedge fund that invests and focuses on disruptive technology such as blockchain and AI. For example Cathie is very bullish on Elon musk and Tesla.

Cathie Wood is no dummy, in fact she claims she’s already made a bunch of money for herself buying 100k worth of Bitcoin years ago when it was $250. Now we can’t really validate this but let’s give her the benefit of the doubt.

Now Cathie wood is claiming that Bitcoin will hit 1 million dollars by 2030

So why would such a highly educated woman make such a crazy prediction? Well I’m of the opinion that this is nothing but a marketing technique to get more attention and press for her and her investment fund.

See, the more publicity she get’s the more people will happily hand over their money to her so she can invest it for them and grow her personal wealth and her company.

This is a very clever marketing technique because let’s be honest if she hadn’t come out and made these crazy predictions and been pro bitcoin I doubt we’d even be talking about her today.

And the truth is nobody can predict bitcoins price, not even satoshi himself.

In a way Cathie is telling us all what we want to hear, of course we all want Bitcoin to go to 1 million dollars but this would require a many number of things to go bitcoins way and I believe the chances of that happening are very slim.

So with that being said when someone makes a crazy prediction it may just be all smoke and mirrors.
