JADAM Microbial Solution (JMS) 5 Gallon SOP
Materials:
● 5 gallon food grade bucket
● Dilution tank (at least 50 gal)
● 25 grams sea salt or 750 ml (25 oz) sea water
● 50 grams boiled potato or cooked grains
● 25 grams or small handful of leaf mold
● Mesh bag or cotton sock
● 1 teaspoon of IMO2 (optional)
Instructions:
1. Use 5 gallon container
2. Fill full with water (5 gal)
3. Stir in 25 grams of sea salt or 750 ml (25 oz) of sea water
4. Stir in 1 teaspoon of IMO2 (optional)
5. Use 50 grams of boiled potato or cooked grains
6. Use 25 grams of leaf mold
7. Combine potato and leaf mold and hang in mesh bag in water with rocks and knead until it melts in the water
8. Loosely close lid to container and leave in sun
9. Takes 1-3 days till completion. Up to 5 in cold weather.
10. If water temps drop below 64F use an electric heater to keep water at 68 F and wrap the container in insulation.
11. If using cold underground water fill container a day prior to use to warm the water. Microbes will make a pizza shaped foam disc on water surface.
12. Use when foam is at its most vigorous and the edges of the disk are clear. Peak growth usually lasts 12 hours.
13. If foam starts breaking up and pulling away from sides of container it's passed its peak and can still be used as JLF.
14. Fill feed tank with soft water/rain water 10:1 ratio for unplanted beds and 20:1 to 100:1 for planted beds
15. Pour the 5 gallons of JMS into feed tank
16. Add liquid fertilizers (optional)
17. If added liquid fertilizers aerate for between 1-8 hours (optional)
18. Clean filter on pump.
19. Prime pump and suction hose with water.
20. Pump water thru drip system or hand water.
21. Do not let pump run dry
22. Run clean water thru hoses for 2-5 minutes after applying JMS
23. Wash out containers when finished
24. Empty socks/mesh bags and hang them up to dry

● Do JMS weekly or every other week
● Best to apply in the evening.
● Best for the soil to at least apply before planting, at beginning of flowering and after harvest
● Best to apply prior to rain so it will be soaked deep into the soils
● Can be used to inoculate/charge Biochar

JADAM LIquid Fertilizer (JLF) SOP
Makes liquid fertilizer from plant materials/animal wastes, water and leaf mold.
Materials:
● Plant material or animal waste Leaf Mold
● Water (Soft Water if using as Foliar)
● Fermentation Container Dilution Tank
● Aeration Pump (optional)

Instructions:

1. Harvest plants in the early morning while they are still wet from the morning dew. These have the most microbial life on them.
2. Cut/chop plants into 2”- 4” pieces and fill the fermentation container (plastic bucket/barrel/tank) at least half full to full .
3. Add a handful of leaf mold for a 5 gallon container and one gallon (1lb) for a 50 gal drum.
4. Fill the container with water.
5. Cover the container with a loosely sealed lid and leave to sit in the sun in the same area it will be used.
6. If material floats stir daily till it sinks.
7. Most ferments are done in 10-14 days.
8. Use when liquid turns dark.
9. Dilute at 20:1 - 1000:1 in water using a sump pump to transfer to the dilution tank.
10. Once diluted aerate between 1-8 hours (optional)
11. Can be pumped or gravity fed thru drip systems if filtered with 155 mesh filter.
12. If used as a foliar spray dilute in soft water, filter well and add wetting agent (dish soap) to reduce marks left on the plant.
13. When JLF is all used up from the container do not remove contents just add more plant material, leaf mold, and water to make another batch. They get better with age. Cut dilution in half for every year of age.
14. Ferment the plants you are growing and feed to the same plants (cannabis for cannabis, tomatoes for tomatoes)
15. Use vigorous fast growing green shoots and high nitrogen animal waste to make JLF for Vegetative growth (blackberry, cannabis, grass, purslane, nettle, alfalfa, fish waste, urine).
16. Use unripe fruits, flowers and vegetables to make a transition ferment to be fed at the beginning of flowering. (unripe plums, blackberry, immature cannabis flowers).
17. Use ripe fruits, flowers and vegetables high in Phosphorus to feed during flowering (pumpkin, zucchini, bracken fern, mature cannabis flower, mistletoe etc). 18) Use the leaves, stems and roots of Biodynamic Accumulator plants whose long taproots pull up hard to reach nutrients from deep in the soil.
18. If making JLF from dry powders (fish meal, crushed oyster shell etc) use 10 times the amount of water and stir ingredients if they sink to the bottom of the container.

Material/Ferment Time/Dilution Ratio
Grass/10 days/ 20:1 - 300:1
Purslane/10 days/ 20:1 - 300:1
Blackberry/14 days/20:1 - 300:1
Cannabis/14 days/20:1 - 300:1
Humus Soil/3 months/ 30:1-500:1
Horsetail/14 days/20:1 - 300:1
Chicken manure/1 month /100:1 - 500:1
