We aren't always taught what is objectively true. And our subjective experience can be at odds with the things we're taught or brought up to believe. But when we find the truth of Jesus Christ, His truth makes sense and can be relied on. God is objectively true. And we can begin to understand how to integrate our subjective experience into the eternal truth of Jesus Christ.

Because without Him, nothing really makes sense. Without God any attempt at humanism, any attempt to understand and ground humanity in anything else apart from God, will fall flat.
