Skit tafsir/commentary:

With school underway many of us find ourselves always busy studying, going from class to class and barely having time for the things that really matter.

Working hard in school is encouraged and one should pursue excellence in all their endeavors, however we need to make sure we don't get obsessed with our studies losing our true goal and purpose in life.

As school gets busy, hold onto your prayers and remember your true purpose.

Based on the 40th hadith in the Imam Nawawi 40 hadith collection:

On the authority of Abdullah ibn Umar (ra), who said:

The Messenger of Allah (saw) took me by the shoulder and said, “Be in this world as though you were a stranger or a wayfarer.”
And Ibn Umar (ra) used to say, “In the evening do not expect [to live until] the morning, and in the morning do not expect [to live until] the evening. Take [advantage of] your health before times of sickness, and [take advantage of] your life before your death.”

[Bukhari]

Sorry for the more serious/dramatic take on our skits, we'll make sure the next one is a funny one insha'Allah :P
