Pituitary adenoma is a very commonly encountered benign brain tumor which can be treated successfully with very minimal damage to the patient if the treatment is sought at the right time. However if the patient presents late, he or she may have permanent loss of vision and a large sized tumor may even endanger the life of the patient.
