Doing EMDR has been so difficult, but it has also been so healing. In just two weeks (Albeit after months of prep work to be able to proceed safely), Devi has been able to talk to our friends for the first time, feel happiness, and realize that he's not the monster he thought he was. The whole system feels shift of it, and it's beautiful and hopeful.
