Even more control over your webcam generated AI video!

With the release of IPAdapter2 recently, I started playing around with FaceID - something I’d pretty much ignored because I made my own models, and I was happy with the results I was getting from Faceswap solutions like Reactor inside of ComfyUI, or FaceFusion, a separate dedicated face swapping and lip-syncing app (I’m way overdue for a full tutorial on this software.)

However, once I started playing with it more, I’ve found it to be amazing in many ways, and this video is just one of those ways.

A while back, I posted a video called “Magic Mirror” which shares a workflow for ComfyUI which allows you to use your webcam to drive AI video in kind-of-real-time (depending on a bunch of stuff.)

It occurred to me to test adding the FaceID IpAdapter into the flow to see if I could get it to influence the real-time results without bringing the process to a grinding halt.

The verdict?

The assumption is that you have ComfyUI already and know how to load this workflow and install any missing nodes.

If this whole process is new to you, it may be best to get a quick primer on ComfyUI.

You don’t need a ton of knowledge to run this workflow, but a knowledge of the basics will help for sure.
