Well, this took longer than it should have. First the fuel tank was a leaky, rusty mess, then the batteries were dead, then the battery charger didn't work, then both batteries appeared to have dead cells, then the control switch run detent broke...it finally runs!

Of course, now there seems to be a blown fuse somewhere because nothing is receiving power. More troubleshooting!
