Brian Niccol, CEO of Chipotle Mexican Grill, tells BNN Bloomberg that the company expects to increase its locations in Canada by 25-30 per cent, and describes their recent launch of their Calgary restaurant as one of the biggest openings for Chipotle. He discusses the low turnover of staff at their restaurants, the use of technology by the company and the value proposition that appeals to customers across income groups in the current economic environment. He also explains the reasons behind Chipotle’s plans for a 50-for-1 stock split this year.
