History Lecturer and Author Stephen Chavura says cash being harder to use in Australia, puts it closer to a “techno surveillance totalitarianism”.

Mr Chavura told Sky News host Andrew Bolt that “cash is king”.

“Cash is freedom – we need to keep cash going.

“If your bank cancels cash, go to another bank.

“And start using cash.”
