I needed new lights in my workshop. The old fluorescent ones I have are one by one failing on me. It's time to replace them all with LED lights.

As usual I decided to make a DIY project out of it. Instead of making a budget project, this time the goal was to make something exceptional. So that was what I did.

The fixtures:
- Led Channels: 80 pcs x 1 meter = $200 (AliExpress)
- Led Strips SMD5630 CRI90+: 12 pcs x 5 meter = $320 (eBay)
- Aluminum brackets + screws/rivets: $50 - $100
- Total cost approx: $500

The electronics:
- MeanWell Led Drivers / Power Supply: 4pcs = $320 (Elfa Distrelec)
- DMX Decoders (dimmers): 8pcs x 3channels = $120 (eBay)
- Data / Network cables + other cables: $50
- DMX Control Surface / Light Mixer: $50 (eBay)
- Total cost approx: $500
