Now we have the sound hole and rosette sorted we can start to fit the braces, the braces where cut out from a block of tikka spruce then plained to size. We form the X brace, notch this to fit over the bridge plate and notch it for the tone bars, then the braces are dry fitted and then glued and clamped in the go-bar deck. Additional fan braces are added and the sound hole is reenforced. At the end of this process the top now has its 28 foot radius. There is still quite a lot of wood in the braces and this need reducing to still provide strength but allow the top to resinate and this is know a voicing the top and will be done in a later video.
