We wore gloves to avoid getting the seasoning into our eyes and we used ice cream, milk, ice and cold water to cool down (ice cream & ice worked the best).

If you are thinking about doing the One Chip Challenge just be careful because your body may react negatively to the hot spice as in stomach cramps & vomit when the whole chip is consumed. We also used Pepto Bismal for upset stomach.
