The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency announced $28.6 million will be sent to Montana to replace lead pipes.

Replacing the pipes aims will prevent exposure to lead in drinking water.

The project is funded through the Bipartisan Infrastructure Law and is made available through the EPA's Drinking Water State Revolving Funds.
