Nickelodeon's As Told By Ginger--And Then She Was Gone...does anyone else remember this show covering topics like this?

As Told By Ginger was an absolute gem on TV when I was a kid. Almost every episode had a deep message that even adults could relate to, which made it the perfect animated dramedy. Some episodes were funny, some were gutwrenching and some even had fans questioning everything they knew about life. Especially the episode “And She Was Gone.” To this day, it has to be one of the darkest episodes of any show to run on Nickelodeon. But what really made the episode so heart-wrenching is that it caused a lot of viewers to take a deeper and more introspective look at their own lives.

If you grew up watching Nickelodeon, Cartoon Network, PBS Kids, or any cartoon for that matter, let me start off by modestly saying, welcome to the kinda coolest place you'll ever find because we're actually pretty weird around here.

I personally love the nostalgic hit when I remember the stuff I used to watch as a kid, (and actually, when you look back, it makes a lotta sense why we turned out the way we did. Product of our environment sorta say). So if you're one of those geeks who loves cartoons and talking about the pointless details in them, I welcome you to our tribe.

Anyhoo, if you decide to stick around, welcome to the fam. If you decide to skidattle, I wish you the best. And never forget, RIP Harambe.
