Microscopic footage showing fruit fly anatomy and its life-cycle.
The fly life cycle starts from the egg, to the larva, pupa and finally the adult. After a females mates with a male, she will lay eggs which will be the next generation of flies.
The fruit fly (Drosophila melanogaster) is very important in biological research. A lot of scientific knowledge in genetics and physiology was gained largely by studying the fruit fly.
