PBS NewsHour Capitol Hill Correspondent Lisa Desjardins will address the third annual James C. Lehrer Lecture at the University of Virginia’s Miller Center on May 2, 2024. At 11 a.m. ET, Desjardins will join UVA’s Miller Center Director William Antholis to talk about how she approaches her work covering Congress, especially amid these times of intense divisiveness. The annual lecture series celebrates Jim Lehrer, co-founder of the PBS NewsHour.
