Many popular YouTubers claim you can make thousands of dollars each month as a transcriptionist. I've seen claims that you can make up to $100 USD an hour. All of these claims are outlandish click-bait designed to get you to watch their videos and earn them ad revenue in the process.

Please don't fall prey to these kinds of videos. My channel aims to tell you the TRUTH about these types of jobs and give you an honest idea of how much money you can expect to make as a transcriptionist, captioner, or general freelancer.
