In this video review the sonos remote control options and how to you can connect a remote control to sonos. Lutron Caseta and iPort both make wireless battery powered remotes that you can use with Sonos.
When you connect a Sonos remote control you can then control your Sonos devices even if you don't have your phone with you. Or if you want to add built in control of you Sonos devices you can do so with a Sonos remote control.
To Setup A Sonos Remote Control:
1. You will need to have a Sonos speaker setup and installed on the sonos app. You will also need a Lutron Caseta smart bridge and a a Lutron Caseta pico remote. You will need to setup and install your Lutron Caseta device on your pico remote.
2. Once your Lutron Caseta devices and Sonos devices are setup on their respective apps you can then connect Lutron Caseta to Sonos.
3. To Sonos to Lutron Caseta for remote control go to the Lutron App and click add a device. Scroll down until you see the Sonos Option then select it. Follow the instructions in the app to connect Sonos To Lutron.
4. In the Lutron Castea app setup a pico remote, but choose "Audio Remote" to setup the Pico remote to control your Sonos System. Then choose which Sonos device you want to control with your pico remote.
