Aliens: Dark Descent has a good story, which I show in this video using cinematics, cutscenes and dialogs. The game is one of the few good games in the Aliens franchise. However, Aliens: Dark Descent is very frustrating at some points when waves of aliens approach and there is no free saving (and the checkpoints are too far away). In addition, the gameplay is somewhat monotonous, since in almost every mission the scenario is: power down or door closed, so go to a terminal and reactivate. Tactically and strategically, it also lacks options and at no point comes close to the depth of the XCOM games. What do you think about the story?
