Hey guys! Welcome back to my channel! Today, we talk about bromeliads, how to water them. Bromeliads originate from mostly Brazil in the Amazon rainforest but they can be grown indoors too! I am here, to teach you how to water them and make them thrive! This is not the full tutorial though, why don’t you go check it out? Just search up “ the Enthusiastic Plant Collector Bromeliad care” and your on your way to success! Also, you want to use water that does not contain to many minerals as suggested. I probably won’t recommend tap water because it contains to many minerals. Another question I get very common is why are there mold inside the cup? And that is mainly due to the water not being changed frequently. I suggest you take the plant to a sink or bathtub or somewhere you can pour the water. Then you want to take new fresh clean water and flush through. I have two bromeliads at the moment and hoping to get more! They are also epiphytes so they don’t need roots that much. The roots are there to anchor and secure the bromeliad to the structure! If you guys have any advice, questions, concerns, or more, you can let me know in the comments below!
